When placing a call via cellular voice, you will see the following pop-up before the call is initiated: If selecting Cellular voice, you will be prompted to input your cellular number:Īfter entering your cellular number, go to Settings > Advanced, click iPhone #, and input your cellular number once again: NOTE: Calls placed and received via the Cellular Direct method will use your cellular plan's voice minutes. The caller ID for the inbound call will display the calling party's number, instead of your Line2 number, so you know who is calling. When switching this setting to Cellular Voice, all inbound calls will be forwarded directly to your cellular number (the Line2 app will not ring). If you'd prefer for Line2 to use your cellular voice network, then choose Cellular voice. When set to Data, Line2 will default to using WiFi for incoming and outgoing calls and revert to cellular data if WiFi is not available. If you'd like Line2 to use your WiFi/cellular data connection, then select Data. To configure whether you want Line2 to place calls using WiFi/cellular data or your cellular voice plan minutes, go to Settings > Data/Voice Switch:įrom here, you will have the options Data and Cellular Voice. ![]() Find the contact or number you'd like to call on the Recents tab.Click on the number you wish to call or tap the icon.Scroll through or search for the contact you'd like to call and tap on their name.CONTACTS (select the contact you want to call) From there, you can place a call by tapping:Ģ.
